Redwing Boots

Here's most of my Redwings, I didn't include my postman boots as I have lent them to my friend to wear while he renovates his house. The most comfortable are my 1904's but my favourite are my 875's, I hope to have them in a similar condition by the end of this winter.

Tricker's Boots

My only smart shoes, these have been to weddings, funerals and everything in between. I don't wear the acorn one's that much as they're a bit light but a pair of white Stow's is high on my shopping list at the moment.

These are my pride and joy. This is the second pair I've had and I've probably worn these for about 14 months on and off. They are obviously in dire need of repair but I can't keep them off for long enough for a visit to the tailor's. I removed the arcs before I started wearing them and am hoping to get my Skulls into a similar state of disrepair. For the fanatics, they've been I the bath about 4 times and washed at 90 degrees once.

LVC Chino's

Although these are apparently limited edition and are individually numbered, most of them seemed to have ended up I the Bicester outlet, where I got these and 4 other pairs for peanuts. Easily the best chino's I've ever had, the sanforization keeps their shape and stiffness and makes them feel more like wearing jeans than chino's.

6876 Coat

I found this at a sample sale at their amazing workspace, they didn't release this in cream, only I black. It's a really nicely cut jacket and has no lining which means it's not too hot to wear over a suit (on the 3 times a year I have to wear one...).

Pendleton Jacket

I got lucky buying this off Ebay, I bought it pretty much blind but it's in pretty much mint condition and fits me perfectly. Not as wide as most Woolrich's I've seen which tend to be a bit big for me but could do with lining as the wool is very itchy.

Stone Island Knit

Picked this up from the sale at Woodie's in Cardiff a few years ago. My favourite heavy knit although the large collar make it hard to wear under a jacket. handy for outings to greasy spoon in Canton on a Saturday morning too.

Ralph Lauren Knit

I bought this just for the sake of it in TK Maxx a long time ago as it was too cheap to leave behind and it's become my favourite knit to wear. A better fit than John Smedley in my opinion as the arms are a lot more I proportion to the body.

Tenderloin Jackets

Both unbelievably nice pieces although neither in the colour I really wanted (I’d rather the royal blue in the satin and the red and cream in the full varsity). Don't tend to wear these too much but definitely keepers for once in while wear.

Tenderloin Shirts

I originally had the blue one of these in a medium but had to hunt long and hard for these two in a small (Yahoo Japan for the brown and my friend from Birmingham for the red, the blue is now in the capable hands of Mike 1%). I like these as they aren't as boxy as most vintage check shirts you find and are easier to look after than wool, but I wish they had loop button collars.

Duffer Knits

I got the striped Mohair one whilst working at Drooghi but had to wait a year until I found the matching scarf at a sample sale. I only got the fairisle one recently form Ebay after a long search but still need the hooded version in a medium. The Duffer lookbook from that season is also essential viewing.....

Duffer Polo Shirts

I bought both of these from the smaller Duffer store on Floral St. just before it closed, I only bought them as they were cheap but they’ve grown to be summer favourites.

St. James Top

Had a fun visit to the sailing store at the back of Covent Garden to get this, the old guy there thought I was mental as I wasn't after rope or varnish. I've worn it quite a lot despite my housemates calling me Jean-Paul Gaultier.

Barbour Jackets

These are a couple of my Barbour coats, a de-badged International and a Beaufort sporting. The International is probably my favourite all round jacket, it goes with anything and isn't to hot or cold for most weather. I like the Beaufort for the light colour as it's not so common and shows up dirt well for ageing. A classic find from when TK Maxx was still good.

Big Mac Chambray Shirt

Another Ebay bargain, searched for ages to find one of these in a small and when I got this it was still very long. Got mam to take it up for me and make the bottom hem straight and Bob's your Mother's brother it's perfect. wear this literally all the time.

  1. Are the Levis Chinos the buckle back Big Es? They were great, but didn't go up past a 36 alas.

You checked out Bill's Khakis? Charlie Allen's & J Simon have got 'em.. cheap as chips on eBay too. The M1 is the best IMO...
